Will I receive a CarePlus Spending Account Card?

Go to MyCarePlus and look under Benefits and Eligibility to check if your plan includes the CareEssentials Allowance. (Or check your plan’s Evidence of Coverage.) If your plan includes this benefit, you should receive the Spending Account Card through the mail.

*United States Department of Housing and Urban Development requires people who use plan benefits, including but not limited to CareEssentials Allowance, to pay rent and/or utilities to include it in the calculation of income. Should you have any additional questions or concerns about what must be included in the calculation of income, please contact your local HUD Field Office.

Members on other plans must have two or more qualifying conditions. This is not a complete list of qualifying conditions. Having a qualifying condition alone does not mean you will receive the benefit(s). Other requirements may apply. Please see your Evidence of Coverage for more information.
