Low-income Subsidy (Extra Help)

If you have limited income, you may be eligible for Extra Help. Visit our Extra Help page to see if you qualify, and to learn about the application process.

If your CarePlus plan covers Part D drugs, there are several ways you can fill your prescriptions, including retail or mail-order pharmacies. CenterWell Pharmacy™ is the preferred cost-sharing mail-order pharmacy for most of our plans.

Using a mail-delivery pharmacy like CenterWell Pharmacy may help you save money with lower copay on 90-day supplies of most medications. And you’ll save time with fewer trips to the pharmacy. If you have trouble paying for your medication, you can contact CenterWell Pharmacy and inquire about options like a lower-cost alternatives, payment plans and more.

To learn more about mail-order through CenterWell Pharmacy, call CenterWell Pharmacy at 1-800-526-1490 (TTY: 711), Monday – Friday, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. EST, Saturday 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Eastern time.

The Medication Management Therapy program promotes collaboration between you, your pharmacist, and your prescribing doctor for safe and effective medication use. The goal of this program is to improve health outcomes by focusing on safety, effectiveness, lower-cost alternatives, and adherence. See program details.

Medicare Prescription Payment Plan

The Medicare Prescription Payment Plan (MPPP) is an optional program that can help you manage your prescription payments. With this program:

  • Costs for your covered Part D prescriptions are spread out over the plan year.
  • You pay $0 at the pharmacy when you fill new or existing covered Part D prescriptions.
  • You’ll receive a monthly bill from CarePlus with the amount you owe, your due date, and instructions on how to make a payment.

This payment option might help you manage your expenses, but it does not save you money or lower your drug costs.

    Over-the-counter products
